SHRM Miami is proud to be an official chapter affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), designated Chapter #38, and a member of the SHRM Florida State Council.
Founded in 1952 as the "Personnel Association of Greater Miami", SHRM Miami has grown into the largest professional association for HR professionals in Miami-Dade County. Our first president was elected in 1953, and thanks to the dedication of generations of volunteer leaders and members, the chapter continues to grow and serve the HR community today. Today, SHRM Miami is committed to advancing the HR profession by offering programs, resources, and networking opportunities designed to meet the evolving needs of HR practitioners throughout Miami-Dade County.

As a dual chapter affiliate, SHRM Miami membership requires an active national membership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). When you join SHRM nationally, you can add SHRM Miami as your local chapter to access programming, networking, and resources tailored to HR professionals in Miami-Dade County.
